Usually, she prefers to keep both parts undivided, so the sword and the dagger act as a single weapon. Its handle is clearly divided into two parts: the top one is, actually, a dagger, which acts as the beginning of her katana and can be taken out if necessary and the second part is the actual sword’s handle. While both may have certain similarities in design, if you look closely, it appears that they are two different swords.įirst, let’s take a closer look at the Assassin’s katana.Īs you can see from the provided images, it is a very long sword that has, in fact, the same length as the Assassin, when she does her iconic battle flip and lands on one knee. Both Warlock and Hunter’s weapons look the same way they looked on their respective owners when you equip them, yet the Assassin’s katana seems to be, kind of, drastically different as a Chosen weapon and as a Ranger sword.
(Disruptor Rifle is an exception, however). It is no secret that after the defeat of any Chosen you gain their unique weapon, each suitable for a specific class.
